Tickets for the Copa del Rey match between CD Tarancón and Levante UD are now on sale. The club has opened a priority window for season ticket holders and members starting today, before tickets go on general sale this weekend.
The first-round fixture of the Copa S.M. El Rey will be played on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00 PM at the Municipal Field of Tarancón. The exclusive sale for season ticket holders and members will run until Friday at 11:59 PM. From Saturday at 12:00 AM until Sunday at 11:59 PM, or until sold out, tickets will be available to the general public via the club's official platform.
Tickets will be sent individually via email to each purchaser starting next Monday. The club emphasises the need to provide a correct email address to ensure delivery. Children under 3 years old, according to the local club's regulations, will have free entry.
This cup tie comes at a challenging time for the team in La Liga, where they sit 17th with just 7 points from eight games, having recorded one win, four draws and three losses. Their last result was a 1-1 draw away to Deportivo La Coruña last Friday, with Daniel Requena on the scoresheet. The current run of five matches without a win, with a recent form of DDLLD, means the Copa del Rey could offer a welcome distraction and a chance to build positive momentum. The team has scored only 3 goals in their last 270 minutes of league play. Their overall season tally stands at 12 goals scored and 16 conceded, leaving a goal difference of minus four. Forward Brugui is the team's top scorer this campaign with three goals.
Before the trip to Tarancón, Levante has a significant home fixture. They host Athletic Club this Wednesday in the ninth league matchday, a key game in their bid to climb away from the lower reaches of the standings. The Basque side currently sit in 11th place. The team approaches this match following a recent run of results that includes the 1-1 draw with Deportivo La Coruña, a thrilling 3-3 draw with Sevilla, and defeats to Villarreal and Barcelona. After that clash, attention will turn fully to the cup competition, where the objective is to handle the first round safely.
