Tunde’s Departure
Right-winger Kareem Tunde, one of Levante’s revelations and a key player for Luis Castro, has already agreed to leave the club and sign for West Bromwich Albion. The move, set to be finalized a few hours before Matchday 2, echoes the exit of Kervin Arriaga in the opening fixture.
Transfer Details
West Brom will pay €3 million fixed, €2 million in variables and a 20 % share of a future sale, according to SER Deportivos Valencia. By off-loading Tunde, Levante aims to speed up the “macro exit operation” that will allow it to register new players.
Registration Impact
Because of the club’s fragile finances, Levante cannot register, for the current season, Dani Requena, Musuayi, Thiago Fernández or Hugo Sotelo, among others. Tunde’s departure, by freeing a slot, is crucial for the club to sign the players it needs before Matchday 2.
