Levante UD continues to bet on its sports direction. The club has announced the extension of the contract of Héctor Rodas and José Gila until 2028. Levante trusts its technical area and has decided to extend its connection until 2028. Héctor Rodas will continue to exercise as sports director and José Gila, in the technical secretary. Both took over the offices last year after the departure of Felipe Miñambres. With Rodas and Gila at the helm of the sports area, Levante has achieved permanence in First Division and the club has set the goal of consolidating a working methodology that grows year by year, with the aim of providing stability to the first team and consolidating the Levante UD project in the First Division of Spanish football, as well as projecting the youth academy. The club consolidates its position in sports direction and technical secretary, since the combination of both profiles has allowed to consolidate the structure of the technical area for more than a year and a half of joint management. One of the great successes of the Rodas-Gila tandem is the bet and the hiring of Luis Castro as Levante coach last December. The bet on the Portuguese coach was risky, but it worked perfectly because the club managed to stay in First Division when it seemed very complicated.
