Levante UD FS has made the difficult decision to leave its indoor football section. In a statement, the club announced that it is leaving the section under minimums, renouncing its place in Second Division, also in Second B, to request its inscription in Third Division. The club's economic difficulties have forced it to take this path, as the section was not sustainable on its own. Despite this, the youth structure will remain intact, with a base of over two hundred children who wear the club's colors, maintaining the bet on sports formation. Even, a collaboration agreement with a First Division FS club is being considered, which would allow direct exit for players formed in the base. The section was born in 2009 after the merger with CD Dominicos, becoming Levante UD-Dominicos after the agreement. In 2013, UPV Maristas joined, becoming Levante UD DM, and since 2016 it has adopted the name Levante UD FS. In 2014, it achieved its promotion to the top category, where it remained until 2023. In the 2020-21 season, it had its most outstanding season, finishing as runner-up in the league, also reaching the semifinals of the Copa del Rey and the Copa de España, and competing in the Champions League in the following campaign.
